What Airport Do I Fly Into?
Book a flight into Ketchikan International Airport. We’ll arrange transportation to the lodge and back to the airport.
What Do I Need to Bring With Me?
1. For all nonresidents 16 and older, you’ll need to purchase a fishing license here- http://www.adfg.alaska.gov
/index.cfm?adfg=license.main
Make sure and add a “King Salmon” stamp. Even if you are not King Salmon fishing you probably won’t want to throw one back if you accidentally catch a big King Salmon. You can also buy a fishing license at our shop when you get here.
2. Bring personal items. Bring the normal stuff when you travel. Some people bring their own rain gear even though we provide it if you don’t.
3. If you want to drink, bring your own alcoholic Beverages. We provide soft drinks.
4. You don’t need to bring money for meals, but bring what you need for gratuities. We provide quite a bit of snacks and desserts but people tend to still buy snacks and swag.
How Many Fish Can I Expect to Catch
Part of the fun of fishing is never knowing what treasure will be on the other end of your line. Limits are ranging from 1 to 6 per day max per person depending on the species for Salmon. Sometimes there are periods where one species is leaving the area, and the other hasn’t arrived yet, so the fishing can stall a bit. In those times, even if the catch isn’t great, the fishing is always a blast. Halibut is available all season. It is always an epic adventure.
What is The Food Like?
Expect everything from Prime Rib to a Sea Feast from our expert Chefs. You will eat like a King with 3 square meals and an unlimited supply of snacks, soda, and desserts. The level of fine dining is usually the biggest surprise for guests who experience some of the freshest food they have ever tasted while traveling. We provide a hot breakfast, a packable lunch so you can get more time fishing, and then we go all-in on a 3-course dinner for your dining pleasure.
