Not only is The Cedars Lodge a good choice for Alaska fishing charter services – it also the perfect lodging option. Our comfortable rooms are mere footsteps away from the dock where our charter boats and floatplanes depart for exciting fishing excursions. We have three lodging options to choose from, economy, deluxe and standard. We offer two types of standard rooms – those located on the mountain-view side of the lodge and the other located on the water-view side. Both options include two beds and cable TV.
When not on one of our Alaska charter fishing excursions, you will want to take the chance to discover the Ketchikan region. You can explore the area in a kayak or a canoe as well as on foot on miles of trails surrounding the community. Ketchikan itself offers many attractions, including a former brothel that is now a museum (Dolly’s House) and charming pedestrian-only boardwalks on Creek Street, which is full of restaurants, art galleries and gift shops. Boasting the largest native population in the state, Ketchikan is home to the biggest collection of totem poles in the world, which are on display at places such as Saxman Village, the Totem Heritage Center, Totem Bight State Historical Park and the Southeast Alaska Discovery Center.
