Alaska Fishing

Cedars Lodge offers all the amenities you will need for an exciting, affordable Alaska fishing vacation

Enjoying an Alaska fishing excursion is high on the priority list of many visitors to the state. When planning an Alaska angling vacation, make Ketchikan, “The Salmon Capital of the World,” your destination. Ketchikan is a charming town with numerous historic and scenic attractions nearby, everything from Dolly’s House Museum, a former brothel, to Misty Fjords National Monument, known as “The Grand Canyon of Alaska.” The community is also home to the largest collection of totem poles, on display at places such as Totem Bight State Historic Park and Saxman Village.

When visiting Ketchikan for your Alaska fishing trip, choose Cedars Lodge as both your lodging and outfitting headquarters. Our fishing charters venture into the vast, unspoiled waters of Alaska’s Inside Passages, whose waters are habitat for five species of Pacific salmon, halibut, cod, sea bass and red snapper. Our experienced, friendly charter boat captains will do their best to help you land a quality catch and our staff will process your catch for you after you reach the dock, filleting it and vacuum packing it for your trip home.

In addition to outstanding Alaska fishing adventures, The Cedars Lodge offers rustic accommodations only a short walk away from the dock where your fishing excursions depart. Our lodge is also home to friendly staff members happy answer any of your questions and to assist you in any way the can. We also offer a dining room that serves three meals daily, including boxed lunches for anglers departing on the angling excursions of their lives!
