Cedars Lodge makes an excellent base camp for your Alaska fishing adventures. The waters surrounding are property are home to a variety of fish, including five species of Pacific salmon, halibut, cod, sea bass and red snapper. Your accommodations will only be steps away from the dock from where our excursions leave. When you stay at Cedars Lodge, do not just stick to fishing. You will also want to explore Ketchikan and the scenery surrounding it. Only 22 miles from Ketchikan you will find Misty Fjords National Monument, known as
“The Grand Canyon of Alaska.” Ketchikan’s streets are full of quaint boutiques, historical attractions and galleries displaying native handicraft and artwork. Do not miss the opportunity to watch native carvers at work creating totems, masks, canoes and paddles at places such as the Saxman Tribal House. You can also enjoy hiking miles of trails surrounding Ketchikan as well as canoeing and kayaking the waters near town to view picturesque scenery and a variety of marine life, everything from sea lions to whales.
